Meal Delivery for All Our Students
We’re partnering with local caterer Top Spanish to offer all our students home delivery of breakfast and lunch after school starts on August 31. Only Creative Minds students are eligible.
How the Program Works
Every Wednesday, starting September 2, students enrolled in the meal-delivery program will receive a delivery of five breakfasts and five lunches. See the September menu.
Cost for Meals
There is no cost to families that have qualified for free and reduced-price meals (FARM). If you haven’t qualified for FARM in 2020–21, and you think you’re eligible, please fill out an application and submit it to frontdesk@creativemindspcs.org.
For students who aren’t eligible for FARM, breakfast is free and lunch is $5 per meal. Sign up for monthly billing here.
Sign Up for Meal Delivery
Registration must be submitted in writing, in one of these ways:
- Fill out and submit this form.
- Email Heather Hesslink at heather.hesslink@creativemindspcs.org.
- Send a text message to Heather Hesslink at (301) 919-1318.
If you email or text Heather, please provide this information:
- Your first and last name
- Daytime phone number
- Email address (if you have one)
- Address in DC that you’d like food delivered to
- Names of the Creative Minds students you’re registering
Deadline: There’s no registration deadline. You may sign up at any time while this program is in progress. The program will continue for as long as students are learning remotely.
Whenever you enroll, submit the sign-up form by 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday to begin receiving deliveries the next week. To receive the first delivery, on September 2, enroll by August 27 at 2:00 p.m.
Current Program
The last delivery for our current (spring/summer) meals program will happen on August 26. If you’re enrolled in the current program, you’ll need to register for the new program to continue receiving meals.
