Getting Started with ParentSquare

Creative Minds is now using ParentSquare for communications with families. ParentSquare posts replace the messages from our operations, communications, and teaching staff that we usually send by email.

Here’s How to Get Started

On September 15, 2021, you’ll receive an email or a text-message invitation from ParentSquare, depending on the contact information that’s in our database. (Find out what to do if you don’t get an invitation.)

Step 1: Activate Your Account

In the email invitation, click or tap the “Activate your account” button. Or tap the “Register” link in the text-message invitation.

Step 2: Enter & Confirm a Password

Enter and confirm a password under “Create a New Account.”

Parents and guardians who already use ParentSquare with another school don’t need to create a new account for Creative Minds. Instead, they should use the “Sign in to Combine Existing Account” link on the ParentSquare registration page and sign in with their existing credentials. Learn more about combining accounts.


Step 3: If Prompted, Confirm Your Information.

Step 4: Set Your Notification Preferences

Web Browser

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner.
  2. Select “My Account.”
  3. Under “NOTIFICATION SETTINGS” click on “Customize Your Settings.”
  4. Select your desired notification settings.

Note that app notifications can be turned on only in the ParentSquare mobile app.


Mobile App

  1. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner.
  2. Tap “Account.”
  3. Tap “Notifications.”
  4. Select your desired notification settings.


Step 5: Set Your Language Preference

Web Browser

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner.
  2. Select “My Account.”
  3. Under “LANGUAGE SETTINGS” click on “Change this.”
  4. Select your desired language.


Mobile App

  1. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner.
  2. Tap “Account.”
  3. Tap “Preferences.”
  4. Tap “Language.”
  5. Select your desired language.

If You Don’t Receive an Invitation

If you’re a parent or guardian who doesn’t receive an invitation by the end of the day on September 15, please submit this request form.

Not receiving an invitation likely means your email address and cell-phone number are not in our student-information system. Don’t worry! We’ll make sure that you get signed up.
