School Closed: November 11 & 12

Creative Minds will be closed on Thursday, November 11, and Friday, November 12. There will be no classes for students.
Thursday is Veterans Day, and Friday is a personal-development day for staff members. Families, read more about the Friday closure in ParentSquare.
If your family is traveling outside DC, Maryland, and Virginia this weekend, please make sure to follow our policy for returning to school after travel.
After traveling outside DC, Maryland, and Virginia, unvaccinated students must do one of the following to return to school:
- Show the negative result of a COVID-19 rapid test. The test must be taken after returning home from travel.
- Show the negative result of a COVID-19 PCR test. The test must be administered three to five days after returning home.
- Quarantine for 10 days; at the end of the quarantine, be free of COVID-19 symptoms for at least 24 hours, without medication.
Students who received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before traveling may return to school immediately.
