Parent-Teacher Conferences
Our first parent-teacher conferences happen online on Wednesday, October 7; there will be no classes for students on that day.
For kindergarten through 4th-grade families, we’re offering a second day of conferences, on October 8, to accommodate the larger population in these grades. There will be no live classes for those students on October 8, but offline lessons will be available.
Expect an email from your child’s teachers about signing up for conferences.
Community Meetings
This year, the lower school and middle school will host Community Meetings online, on alternating Fridays. Lower school meetings start on September 25, at 9:00 a.m. The first meeting for middle school is on October 2, at 9:50 a.m.
Teachers will share log-in information. See our Google calendar for all meeting dates.
Supporting Learning at Home

Stay Connected
Seesaw App
Through Seesaw, we’re able to send school-wide messages to families. (It’s another not-email option for communicating with you.) Download the Seesaw family app to easily see our messages, as well as messages from teachers.

Text Messaging: Opt In
On September 17, did you receive a text message that began “Creative Minds International Public Charter School alerts”? That was our introductory text message, which we sent to staff and families who hadn’t already opted in.
Respond Y or Yes to that introductory message to opt in to more texts from us. Read more about our text messaging.
Technology
Chrome Tablets
We don’t yet have a definitive date for when Chrome tablets, for 3rd- through 6th-grade students, will arrive. Know that we’re monitoring the shipment and will send an update when we have more information to share.
