Middle School Student Council Is Building Community

The Creative Minds Middle School Student Council recently presented a proposal to the Creative Families Association and CMI leadership for building community at school.

Using feedback from student surveys, council members shared their recommendations for spending CFA funds set aside for middle school and the money raised through popcorn sales. They proposed buying more middle school recess equipment and offering new, healthful snack and beverage options to students in middle school. Their proposal for snacks included a plan for selling food items and providing snacks to students who can’t afford to purchase them.

We’re proud of council members for their comprehensive proposal and for the collaboration, thoughtfulness, and spirit of inquiry they showed in putting together the presentation and sharing it with the CFA.
