Required Reading!

Before the first day of school . . .

Visit our website to learn about all the procedures for arrival and dismissal.

A safe and healthy return to the school building requires all of us to understand and follow the rules.

Health & Safety 101

Here are two basic requirements for everyone visiting campus:

  • Wear a mask (ages two and older).
  • Pass the health screening found in the CMI Screening app. Download the app for Android or Apple devices.

Learn about all the ways we’ll be working together to keep our community safe, and find checklists for the return to school, in the Back-to-School Guide: Protocols for Health & Safety.

To Do: Code of Conduct

All families must read and sign an “In-person Code of Conduct,” which outlines our commitment to the Creative Minds community and what we are asking of you as we work to keep our community safe and healthy.

If you have not already submitted this document, please download it here, sign it, and send a signed copy to frontdesk@cmipcs.org.

Driving & Parking on Campus

The Armed Forces Retirement Home regulates driving and parking on campus, and it’s mandatory that we all follow the rules:

If you’re talking on your phone while driving on campus, you must use a hands-free device.

  • Park ONLY in Lot 5.
  • DO NOT park in the carpool lane, not even for a minute to walk your child into school.
  • DO NOT park or stand in Lot 2 (the lot closest to the play space).
  • DO NOT park in residents’ spaces, assigned parking spaces, or the lot for Lincoln’s Cottage.

Find our campus map here.

Families may be ticketed, or even have privileges revoked, by the AFRH for driving and parking infractions; Creative Minds has no authority to overturn AFRH decisions.
